Cost-of-living expenses vary from student to student based on factors such as personal spending patterns and living arrangement choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Office of Financial Aid offers an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utdallas.edu\/costs-scholarships-aid\/costs\/calculator\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.utdallas.edu\/costs-scholarships-aid\/costs\/calculator\/\">Estimated Cost Calculator<\/a> based on the costs of tuition, books and living expenses, such as housing, food and transportation. This calculator can be used to see an average, overall estimated cost of attendance for one academic year at UT Dallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective and current or admitted students may also obtain a <a href=\"https:\/\/bursar.utdallas.edu\/tuition\/tuition-estimates\/\">tuition estimate<\/a> for upcoming semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"margin-top:1.25rem\">Tuition Plans<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All new incoming students will have the opportunity to choose from <a href=\"https:\/\/bursar.utdallas.edu\/tuition\/tuition-plans-rates\/\">two rate plans<\/a>: the guaranteed tuition plan and the variable tuition plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>variable tuition rate<\/strong> plan is based on a traditional plan that locks in tuition rates for one academic year at a time. The rates on the variable tuition plan are subject to change each academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>guaranteed plan<\/strong> locks in tuition rates for four consecutive years and protects the student against increases during those four years.
